I Wont Be Your Prisoner

Here are some more self portraits I took messing about recently. I used some mesh fabric over the end of the lens to give the slightly hazy effect. The dress was one I wore to my school leavers ball/prom when I was 18. I found it in a charity shop and it had lots of horrendous 80's shoulder detail and bows which I swiftly removed!

Before You Woke

Went for a shop with friends Charlie & Lucy the other day. Topshop had a very small sale in which Lucy and I both bought a pair of these dotty tights for £3! Im also wearing shorts which I have altered into a paper bag waist style originally from topshop, and a vintage silk shirt from my mother.

A Thought She Has Caught By A Thread

I found these shorts in a charity shop - they are actually 2 sizes too big for me but I've cinched them in with a belt to create a kind of paper bag waist fit. They can also be worn low and slouchy on the hip too, so a good investment for £2.50! Also wearing a knit top from Topshop, and vintage bag.

Blue Jean Baby

I woke up yesterday to a lovely parcel.. I got sent a gorgeous pair of jeans in the post from Hudson. They are called the 'Baby boot' style and are supposed to be worn tight fit with a small boot cut leg. This pair is a size too big for me, but seeing as I like to wear my jeans low they work really well as a slouchy fit jean on me, and the quality/softness of the denim adds to this almost giving them the 'boyfriend jean' look.
So thanks to Veronica and the Hudson team for letting me be one of the first to get my hands on a pair!
Im wearing these with a D.I.Y shredded vest top and some military boots which I bought on ebay.

Unwillingly Mine

I am loving knee socks right now! Wearing them here over jeans for some added warmth for the cold winds outside. Its deceptively blue skies and sunshine outside in my part of the world.. but still so cold! I am also wearing a sequin moon top from Topshop and Jeans from Zara.

My Broken, Broken Words.

Tried to do the photo shoot today. Its too cold! A bright red nose and watering eyes because of the harsh winds was not a good look..
So shoot on hold.. Here is an outfit post instead. I'm wearing a simple black dress with a vest from asos layered over the top, along with knee high socks and a beanie hat from H&M.

Testing..

I mentioned yesterday that I did a test shoot for a shoot i'm collaborating on with Ebn this week. I took all of these using my tripod and remote control for the camera, hence the slightly shaky results! But It was a good practice for light conditions and editing methods..
I will be sure to upload the actual images from the proper shoot once they are all finished with!
