Australian denim brand Bettian Liano has a reputation for creating some of the most flattering and most interesting jeans. I noticed these photos of some of the items in the new collection and agreed that the pieces looked rather exciting in the way they have been tailored and styled.
I bought these jeans from Zara in the TRF denim section, I always find it so hard to find jeans that fit over my sticky outy hip bones so i was really happy to realise that Zara denim does actually fit me in all the right places! The jumper is from a market stall in Spitafeilds market, London. I love the beading detail on it so will have to take a more close up photo to show this off on here at some point.
Im selling a few bits and peices on ebay at the moment so take a look if you fancy it! http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/constance_victoria
A beautiful dress which I recently bought on Ebay - Originally from All Saints which is my absolute favourite shop, Love everything they have in there and the way their shop is decorated and themed - utterly amazing! The dress itself is so interesting in the way it is constructed, lots of ruching, sequins and panels of see through lace make up this exciting design, and the shape hugs every part of the figure beautifully.
I Am excited to announce that I am posting this from my sparkling new laptop (A Lovely White macbook) I am already in love with it and am enjoying sitting on my bed as I write this...! I expect this will lead to me updating a lot more frequently so look forward to lots and lots of updates in the future...!
Came accross these beautifully striking images from Dazed & Confused by photographer Ali Mahdavi. They are mostly depicting Theirry Muglers peices which always have created fantastic sillhouettes and shapes on the female form. Almost alien like...which is obviously what the styling team have gone for on this one. Really fantastic set in my opinion! xxx
I was recently given this dress for my birthday and I love its simplicity! It has a really flattering neckline for me and also a lovely flared skirt. Its also a very versatile peice - can be unbuttoned to wear as a sort of jacket or worn over jeans or anything! xxx
Influenced by 80's couture this collection is so beautifully opulent....The backstage pictures are all so stunning even when taken so candidly. Pictures from RunwayM - Livejournal
I celebrated my 22nd birthday on the 20th of July, and among some of the beautiful gifts I received from freinds and family were these lovely rings. I had been admiring the rings on other fashion bloggers fingers recently and needed a few more to add to my rather small collection!
I came accross this beautiful set of images by one of my favourite photographers, Tim Walker. The set is aptly named the snow queen and is so gorgeous in styling terms and in the overall colour scheme and soft focus approach... Images from Foto Decandent on LiveJournal
Another great charity shop find - This beautiful full skirt is originally from M&S would you beleive! Teamed with a vintage scarf i have had knocking about for ages, a plain white top, and some peep toe heels! xxx
Another great blog to check out whilst I am on the subject is 'The Pinstripe Prince' at http://pinstripeprince.blogspot.com. Written by one of my closest pals Charles Matthews this blog has posts on a great mix of fashion, culture and music.
I found this wonderfully sparkly cape/top in a charity shop for £3.00! Its authentic vintage with only a couple of sequins missing... just goes to show that there is still many a bargain to be found in the charity shop despite the vintage trend! x
The fall 2009 couture collection from Jean Paul Gaultier was dripping with decadence and luxury... this is shown beautifully in these backstage shots which all the models looked to die for in. The makeup and styling finished off the garments perfectly in my opinion. Stunnnnning. Pictures from RunwayM on Livejournal.
Some beautiful images which have been tucked away in my files for a while now. I love the soft focus effect and the styling in these images. All of them are part of editorials for various magazines which can be found at fotodecadent on livejournal.
Last night we enjoyed a spur of the moment 'festival' evening at Charlies house which we aptly named 'Charles Fest'!! It was an evening of yummy picnic treats, live acoustic music, dancing in the dark, sparkly tea lights, and beautiful freinds....
See through mesh and velvet bodycon dress - bought from a charity shop, jacket from Madonna at H&M collection. Boots from Shellys London. Still in the process of sorting out all my things after moving house....updates will become much more frequent once settled!! x
